A document on epidemiological restrictions was declared inauthentic
On October 6, Rospotrebnadzor, Russia’s Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, rejected a document circulating as the basis for epidemiological restrictions. Interfax reported the statement.
The denial of this document’s authenticity cannot automatically be extended to all sanitary measures. Restrictions in parts of Shelekhov hospital had previously been described in a separate municipal statement.
It has not been demonstrated that the rejected document and the previously announced hospital measures concerned the same regime and territory. This investigation contains no verified order completely closing Irkutsk, Shelekhov or the region to entry and exit.
