Thailand began monitoring; Tajikistan increased border temperature checks

On October 5, Thailand’s Department of Disease Control announced that it was monitoring the situation, awaiting verification by the World Health Organization, the United Nations health agency, and was ready to respond.

In Tajikistan, Asia-Plus relayed comments by Davlatzoda Said, head of the relevant Health Ministry department, about increased border temperature screening. The original order and data on identified patients have not been obtained.
