Interviews with colleagues and patients and a People of Baikal report published by Meduza contain information about Darya Shipilova’s illness and subsequent restrictions. However, the exact date of her first symptom and the sequence of requests for medical care have not been established.

No publicly available medical history, ambulance call records or medication charts are included in this investigation. Reports that she was initially treated for a severe coronavirus infection and received antibiotics late come from people interviewed by news outlets. They do not independently establish a medical error.

Journalistic sources date her hospitalization to September 29. This does not justify treating that date as the onset of illness or assigning a precise date of infection.
