Two isolation boxes for Mongolia and 500 coveralls for Uzbekistan
The Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute of Siberia and the Far East ordered two isolation boxes for patients in Mongolia, Siberian Express reported on 8 October. The newsroom says a 2.6 million-rouble contract with Sipas Logistic, a limited liability company, was signed on 30 September; the recipient is the National Centre for Zoonotic Diseases in Ulaanbaatar.
The same report describes the Microbe institute’s procurement of 500 protective coveralls for Uzbekistan’s Republican Centre for Plague Prevention. People of Baikal relayed the information with a link to that report.
An unofficial copy of notice 0360100026226000403 lists 500 coveralls, an initial price of 1,156,085 roubles and applications until 13 October. Its title refers to Russian government order 64-r of 22 January 2026. The complete order has not been reviewed.
The original notice in Russia’s Unified Information System for Procurement and attachments could not be read. These materials do not establish a contract award for Uzbekistan or equipment delivery. No documentary connection between the procurements and Darya Shipilova’s illness has been found; they contain no laboratory confirmation of plague.
